Rest in Peace Hank
This Morning we helped Hank cross over the rainbow bridge. He was 10.5 years old and a very tall Great Dane. He had long legs and that's what gave way on him first. He was spending his day on the big couch which is nice for a big dog. His spirit was huge and we loved him dearly. To have a large dog of 135 pounds is an experience and to be a kid and grow up with one that's something. I was blessed with this experience twice. He love Thanksgiving when the house was full of people at time 35 and he walk in and out getting petted and love up with nibbles of everyone food I'm sure.
So to document things I've made a journal entry using the tea bag in there among other papers and machine stitched his photo. Gracie our other dog is already looking up to the couch and away many times to see him and he's not there. This is hard to see and witness the changes as we mourn through this event at the end of the year.
