Day 4 Believing, Process and Series SRA

Anne Cutting her watercolor paper getting it ready for a series.

Joy working on her piece, We talked about what home meant for us each and what our dream home was and listen too each other. We also discuss about trying new things, tools in our hands and the process steps to take, though very little, they were important to get a finished result and the series that come from having the papers, using it on each collage made and the theme of the house or farm and silo as you can see below.
Lili begins the adobe/tipi style home.

Terre grow up on a farm and I can see it was dear to her heart.

The playfulness was out and we are having a good time, Joy here is an amazing singer and we were listening to show tunes which by the way popped in great childhood memories and adult one too.

Jessica has it planned out and ready to take the next step of glazing and applying the image transfers.

We have a great little neighborhood here from Shelley.

Lili's finished piece...what a wonderful piece at that.

Lili exploring a different style of home.

Terre's series...she was on task and wiping them out.  We are amazed.

As the day went on we were getting more and more from what we worked at so hard to get to...I'm in Awe. Shelley working the series here.

Tape is cut off and the big reveal is here, Joy's pieces.

Anne's two exercise piece's from the day before.

And here is one of two she's got going, nice fall colors popping from hers.

From my experience a workshop doesn't end the day you go home, there is more that you have stored for later processing.  And when you get home and settled in to your comfort zone with our a mask on because it was challenging there is time to thinking back and reflect the steps you experienced.  I encouraged everyone to keep to here likes and not try to make work like another...Really honor what is inside of them and allow this place to be where they can let it out.  They were all successful at believing and our path will cross again.
