Process work, Standing Bear

With all the excitement of a workshop coming up my energy is high and stimulated with all the materials being packed away for it.   I have been playing with the ideas of a Standing Bear and not one that if growling at you, just standing up.  This is pose in life from a bear resembles a human being.  Much has been said about this in indigenous cultures. Well I've just been making some papers and toying with the idea and now come the layout.  To act on the idea is good and to allow it to say stored up inside is killing me...I know I'm restless about things but being able to bring it out to the surface is so comforting.  

Intuition starts to do her magic with all the colors and ideas.  I went digging in my draws of transparency of images and found the butterflies and my hand drawn flowers.  The ideas to add color before and then the many coats of gloss medium is something I want to try out.  I'll have to use a utility knife and cut around the petals through. I intention is to add them to the white area by the bear.  

I'm not acting on this all yet even though I want to jump in. There is an ideas to create a little niche for some  little wood marbles I have.  I want them to be painted blue for blueberries...I think....With out sketch and pulling from inner for the outer works I will have to see how this all turns out.
