A few days have passed since class
I'm still learning as an instructor how to teach. The experience I have and what can happen always needs to be broken down for better understanding. Here in this class we are creating papers, a new palette to work with. Each time, each class I have my students do this. Yes they end up with lots of paper but that is the palette to work with and we need provide ourselves with choices.
The beauty of the Nevr Dull Nat. Geo. magazine papers and the sanded one offers each of us a direction for color in the rest of the papers we create. As you can see the colors emerging. It's just so exciting to see.

A bit of India Ink and some handmade mark making tools for these beautiful lined on some white paper. The paper can be toned with other color later which some of us might do. It's only the Second class out of Five so we will be finishing up the paper palette making this Friday so we can move into creating out vertical collages.
