Collage: Line and Shape Class

We begin the process, starting off with a white sheet of collage paper made from maps or some other large piece found paper.  We pushed back the surface with a layer of gesso, maybe two coats were needed. This gives us an interesting back ground and we recycle papers and use them in our art. 

This process has us using lots of Black Strips of skinny lines or strips.  I think we are getting pretty good at this. More to come...we have two more weeks.
