Arrangement and Autonomy
So take a magazine page or paint a drawing paper or watercolor with acrylic or watercolor paints. And cut into shapes and pieces.
As you can see I have a nice selection to work from and I have a 6 x 6 piece of watercolor paper in the center to use as my substrate. Now I'm not going to glue them down with a glue stick or any other kind of glue.
I would like to off you a play ground area to practice making choices and see what comes from it. I would suggest at least three time and then put it away for the day. It can be use as a warm up before you go into creating a collage too.
As you can see from this one photo and the one before it the shapes about close to the same size.
Add some excitement to your little arrangement by cutting smaller piece as you can see how it worked out for this one compared to the other ones. This exercise also helps you listen to what you like and don't like just by arrange these cut shapes.
After playing with this exercise I went into today's Tack Down Tuesday, yes it is Monday afternoon but this is when I create it for a Tuesday Morning Launch of the email newsletter.
