1-Day Workshop, post pictures

McCord Gallery and Culture Center is where this 1-day workshop was presented at.  Palos Park IL 

Nice little ramp to dolly up the supplies and in to set up. 

I had to share one of my student from another class, Rolling Scroll at Mayslake a good 5 months ago shared her scroll that she finished.  Loved it and ask her permission to share with you all. Nancy did an amazing job.  I didn't want to have her open it as we didn't have time in the workshop and it was so nicely wrapped up. 

 

Our space is great for this happen...we need two days but maybe in the fall or next year. 

One of the fun papers is the magazine from Nat. Geo and the sanding done with the color added.  You can spot them in the almost completed collage piece below. 

This kind of collage making is very intuitive to working.  We have no reference to pull ideas from and the design sense is cranked up and we are pulling from what we know inside of us.  And the really listen to what we like and not like and to go with it.
