A Whale of Dream Time
Do you remember your dreams?
Do you even dream?
Winter time allows us the time to rest, regroup and relax. I think if there was more snow on the ground I would fold into this winter season better in the North East section of IL. Changes in the season temps bring us now more rain. It's water and we still need to replenish it some how on this earth. I'm touch by the whales and their movement in the water, their size, and their care of each other. Watching a few videos of their movement brings a sense of calm and peace. Their so huge and so amazing.
In the class, A Year of Practice-Winter Season is providing me with new connection of the natural ways of life and as we learn about ourselves through the natural season cycles we can better live in harmony. It's not easy to do...but I'm grateful now to not be in Spring and Summer...way to much to do. The cooler temps and non growth of plants, bushes, and trees...yard work would be way to much to handle all together right now. Rambling but I'm into awareness of it all. We/I have swayed away from so much of this natural knowing and connecting. Another part of the winter season is the gentle sway or movement we can do even if we are in a retreat sort of state. The pulling in and withdrawn from the outer life.
I have a plan to carry Jacqueline Suskin book all the way through each season within a class setting this year. Spring will start up March 10th. You can see all the classes on my website.
