Just getting everyone started

Sample Brown Bag Pocket Journal, 

We were able to accomplish the hand stitching of the layers of the brown bag, substrate and the cheese cloth.  Using the book thread in the colors I had to share we will be ready for this week of making some papers to go inside and the recycled papers to end up with a nice full signature to stitch in place. 

These little journals will be ready for any road trip or get away.  Documenting you time with found papers all over the place, one comes back after a time and looks back at the experience and usually is delight and happy that they keep a little record physically instead of only digitally. 

As I'm teaching this class in person I'm also creating a class for online, very much like the other class, "One Artist's Journal," but with more recycled awareness.
