Frank's Houses

In class today we starting collaging after making our papers. I started off with the watercolor papers and a map from National Geographic painted with gesso and then coated with gloss medium. The houses are from sanded magazines and acrylic applied. The black lines are painted Kraft paper. Graphite pencil for line energy.  

And the house series begins.... Being in class we are studying Frank Lloyd Wright, Mondraion, and Kandinsky....we started with Frank Lloyd Wright and I call this piece "Frank's Houses" 

will be framed and matted in a 11 x 14 black frame with white mat. (well that's the plan)
