Last weeks class, Friday Fusion

Brought in a few sample here on the wall, for a vertical collage piece with pattern and visual texture. As Ideas student could pull from.  Creating a palette non objective design orientated collage works can be a playful environment for most of us....Being able to open up and explore what is next to each other as of color and to layer up a paper and go through the ugly stage is the challenge.  But seeing it happen right  before our eyes and feeling the changes emotionally as we make these papers are priceless.   

Started working the big Kraft paper Grocery bags with gesso and then a layer of gestural lines along with a layer of color....stamping and stenciling along with a bit splattering can make a great sheet of collage paper to cut up and use through many piece of art.
