Winter Solstice Morning.

Welcome in Winter, and Winter Solstice, Good intention were put out for some snow and it came Yesterday morning...Early but it came and grateful to see the way the flakes follow the branches and piled up way high in the trees.    By afternoon the sun was sharing warm as it moved in and out of the clouds.  The bird feeds where filled and the should of the group of them leaving as something startled them was an awesome sound.  Happy to hear the Chickadees out there this morning.  I do love the little acrobatic they preform.  I've been visited with a good old fashion cold, and I have to admit it's perfect timing with Winter Solstice.  The cozy comfort of coming into oneself and meditating on life.  I love tea but don't drink it enough.  That has changed these last couple of days.  Even just warm water, lemon and honey are such a comfort.  

Tomorrow the family is coming over to celebration the Holiday Season and it will be a Breakfast together.  I'm going to make the crepes today and rewarm them tomorrow...I've got all day.  I made myself a green immunity smoothy this morning...I've not done that in a so long...why I ask?  it's so good.  In welcoming this Winter time you can see the little ceremony center piece I have.   I said some prayers for guidance and awaken the heart with some drumming.  I good have done some yoga but decided to keep it very simple and lay down flat and just breathed.  Listened to my gong music with nature sounds and relaxed into the moment.  Gracie gal was laying at my side...we didn't walk a bit cold today and intuitively I going to stay in and continue the selfcare.   As the energy is low....and slow,  which I'm welcoming in as part of this seasonal end and beginning of light.  Taking the que's from nature has been something I turn to often.
