Final Class, Scroll Sketching

Here is a dear friend and artist that brought her work in to share with us that she's been work on from some years.  She works slower and with great discernment in her art.  Thanks Cheri for bring in this work to fill us with great Ideas.

Karla wasn't sure about the process but something happen and she just took off, You can see her segments here laid out.  So exciting to see this. She's an amazingly creative soul.

Being it was our last session of 14 classes we celebrated with some goodies and tea.  Julia share about teas how to prepare a cup for ourselves. It was just delightful. Thank you Julia.

Karla brought in her Lunch box full of short moment of the morning sky that she has been document for a while as you can see and the habitat around the area. shore glass, dried plants, sticks etc.  I just love the Metal Lunch box as a display piece.

Nancy's Scroll stretched out over the 9 ft table and then some.  Witnessing each week as the segment grow was so exciting and how all together.  The back of the scrolls were also embellished as we saw fit.

Part I of Julia's Scroll, it was a long one and what free spirit she shared.

Part 2 of this scroll and the playfulness was felt, so happy to see how she just took to the whole process like a fish to water.  Great Job!

Here is Beth piece and she accomplished what she had in mind about the tower look or the receding down in sizes of the segments.  Very earthy and rich with the handmade watercolor paper she started with.
