Coyote and the Owls, Wordage'

Coyote

Soft jog with a little bounce
from one front yard to the next.
A hunters dance,

We spot him and he spots us, eye contact
a quick head turn and off after a little white tail.
Till the next time we meet go in peace.

Great Horn Owls

Silent, like a breath being held
a bellow of hoots in tandem a sound from a inner chamber.

Still I sat, listening to the song, guessing
the where about of the couple.

One by one,  flew to other tree tops,
Silent again in awe as I witness these early morning friends.
