East Direction, Inner Compass,

Mouse Medicine, not necessarily an East spirit animal but I personally like to work with it along with the Eagle.

One of my favorite books is Jumping Mouse, by John Steptoe,  I think you can even see it on YouTube Here.

The symbol of the mouse can be endearing or can be repulsive, to disregard either would be not paying attention to details which one of the meaning gifts of the mouse.

How do you pay attention to details? Or do you even care to?

Like the mouse the ability to master meditation in motion, be the pen moving across the page of the journal or the feet walking and arm swaying repetitively this is mediation is motion. Mice are silent movers and a resourceful soul, showing you many blessings.

If you meditate have you experience the mediation in motion before? Can you relate to its resource for the soul?

Like the coyote, a mouse has abilities to be very adaptable in many environments and conditions. Mice love to dig in the dirt and are natural burrowing creatures.   The European stories claim Mice carried souls to the next reality. Their messengers from Heaven to Earth, much like the Eagle. Which I will share after we look at the good medicine from the Mouse spirit.

The Mouse was blamed for the plague, but it was no fault of theirs, it occurred because of poor hygiene’s and careless handling of waste. Mice are non-stop groomer, their messengers of tidiness and guides to get yourself in order.

How Ironic the symbolism of the mouse can be used so very well in the East Direction of our journey with the Inner Compass.  New beginnings, Growth, and healing with along with tending to yourself in healthy ways.  Cleaning clutter, making things organized and remaining clean in thoughts too.

Mice are outstanding role models for the love of friendly environmental living. They know how to hoard and conserve in intuitive ways. Remaining aware of abundance and preparing for lean times.

How can you make changes to prepare for the abundance in your life.?

Here are some things to think about and possibly do some journaling.

Checking in on our behavior again, the north had us doing this and we are asked again to look at our behavior in the East direction.

Have you become overbearing?

Are you pushy?

Are you arrogant?

Mice are timid and shy and like a soft approach in life situations. There is nothing wrong with gentleness.

The symbolism of the mouse also brings as the East Direction the awakening of creativity and fresh Ideas.

Mouse can be an Animal Ally and can offset your negative mindset, Trust the mouse, be in the humility which creates a wonderful foundation for something more significant.  Blessings are around you all the time and many of your own making. Mouse symbolism teaches you how to lighten up and give yourself some credit where credit is due.

Working with the mouse’s energy may have you paying attention to everything. And every detail of people, places, and things. This can be a heightened perception and an art to how to balance with in the details.   One can be so focused on the details of everyone one else, they lose sight of the dangers around them.  As a bird of prey may come down and swoop them up because they were so engrossed in the details, they lose track of what is all around them and put themselves in danger.

New awareness is upon us with Spring though we don’t want to run around scurrying about in a frenzy fever we have lost sight of everything and put ourselves in danger.

How can you help yourself pay attention to detail and stay aware?

Mouse Medicine has us staying busy and enjoying some solitude while we work, with choices of staying humble, and more balanced in the practical of the unseen.

Disclaimer:

I am of strong East European descent with a connection to the earth and nature. The spiritual work of our inner being is one of the individual persons.  A lifetime of seeking to continue to connect to what is true has led myself on a learning path in great respect for all. There is no claim of being a decent from a Native American tribe. The natural ways of the Medicine Wheel are gentle and all-encompassing for growth of our spiritual self.  I share this because I'm only sharing gifts pass through me from working through my own life's experience and listening and learning from all those that gather in the circle. A student of life is a great grounded place to be as our teacher are everywhere.  Any trail that leads you to look within is always going to lead you through a journey of self-discovery on so many levels.  No one says it going to be easy or without pain, but the reality is we become who we are meant to be as we heal our own wounds for service of others in our life.   Keep showing up, you are worth it!
