A class that sparked a different style

Collage: Line and Simple Shapes

Not all of these pieces where created after this class but most of them were and I was influenced myself by the artists work we study during the class time.  The use of line and shape have always been in my work even when I was very young.  My Grandfather taught me while sitting on the porch swing during the summer months.  We would draw what was in front us. Breaking it down into shapes and built them back up.  He taught me to look at things in the simplest of forms.  These three artists  saw their world around them during World War I.  Life wasn't to pretty then either, pulling from the spiritual side of life. They expressed in their own ways.
