Feathers that come

Because I live across from a cattail basin, where water is available an the coverage of foliage is plentiful for small critters there is a lot of action that sometimes you just don't see till after the fact. I hear them, the Great Horned Owls and I see the Redtail's up high soaring around. Then as walking Gracie around I find the evidence of them being present.  A gift with great respect. 


And it is time to gather leaves and photograph them so I can use them for image transfers.  These are the cottonwood that seem to give us a sign that change is upon us.  
Their some rough leaves too. Thick and big.
