Something came over me this morning about healing. Could have been a conversation I had with that sparked it. "Healing doesn't mean it never happened; healing means it no longer controls you life." So many times over the years since I started to use the circle or ringlets I've come back to use it as a reminder that what every happens out in the world when in a healing way we are not controlled by the situation. Sure going a bit deeper then one would think in the creative practice but it's where I find my comfort, grounding, balance and peace.
I can't even begin to tell you how touched I was looking at these pieces. I've followed your blog awhile now and wish I could take your new class up at Dillman's but the timing is wrong. WHY are going in cold wet May? But there is something SO appealing about this group. You do all kinds of collage but this is definitely my favorite style. Question: after I coat my smaller papers for my collage and they are dry...how do I store them so they don't stick together?
