Day 2 Dillman's 2019, Holistic Approach to Collage,
I brought India Ink and well we had to explore the marks we could make with a utility knife, water, feather and our own tall grass brush, or mini "Witch Broom" Tony here tying the material to the stick.
I have my student explore the different surface of paper. Here we are using a brown bag with gesso and making some marks on the surface to begin the many layers of in this process. A rich history of layers will added knock the one before.
The day progresses, Layers, marks and stained tissue papers. A very freeing experience for all.
