A few class photo's from Mayslake
Last weeks class, Making Stained Tissue papers.
Nancy and Barb laying out the string and cutting for the stained string tissue papers we will be making.
This classroom is so full of light it's wonderful to work in on a good sunny day with all the windows.
Sandra and Mary Lee staining the tissue papers.
The Room is huge and great work in.
Yesterday we work with National Geographic magazine and sanded and used Nevr Dull on them with the smell the Nevr Dull makes we wanted to use the great outdoors for that, thankful the weather gods worked in our favor as now rain and we could go right along with what the class plans where.
Part of the fun about collages class is we get to make our own papers and explore that awesome feeling of Play...Well once we all understand a bit better of what we are doing there is the opportunity to put more intention in the process but for right now it's well alright to say Art is a big playground for Adults and by the happy faces I would say their playing well and hard...I did ask them to smile for the camera but the were already happy and so busy chatting in their excitement.
