Tack Down Tuesday October's #3

Warm Calm Center
8 x 8 Collage on 140 lb watercolor paper, matted with 2" all sides to final size of 12 x 12, ready to pop in a frame.

Materials: Old book pages, white lunch bags altered with gesso and acrylics, Citra Solv altered magazine papers, player piano paper, altered magazine pages with resist and number image transfers. All paper are coated before hand with polymer medium to ensure paper fusing with tack iron. Final coat with UV varnish ready for framing.

Meaning of the Artwork
Monday was filled with many things to do on the list and I kept thinking to myself that I'll be able to do this if I take care of myself and keep a calm center, and what ever really needed to get done would and what didn't will have to wait. You might ask what the number 52 means...I randomly pick numbers and this time they picked me..  together you get 7 one for each direction..N,S,E,W, the sky, the earth and lastly is a silent pray for the human being seeking guidance.
