Walking in this World, Artist's Way

Starts September 17th, will end December 31st 2020.

Having the book-Walking In This World, Artist's Way, is really all you need to start.

Course size is Limited to 15 - Minimum 5,

this will keep it intimate.

Can we continue our lives?  Pick up the good parts and pieces to carry on?  I've been witnessing the importance of a creative life this whole year and how we are entwining in our lives. Be it out of limits, boundaries, or necessity we have been scrambling to right the unbalance. The holistic approach to living is present in my life, how about yours?

What we intake, to what we discard.   Our food, our minds, our spirits and our physical bodies...come together to Walk this World, to stand up and make know.  We are doing it; can we make sense of it though?

From the words of Julia Cameron, "Walking and talking humanize my life, drawing it to an ancient and comforting scale. We live as we move, a step at time, and there is something in gentle walking that reminds me of how I must live if I am to savor this life that I have been given."

"Walking in This World is intended as a gently pilgrimage."

A deeper introspective look at ourselves and our world around us. Are you ready for something like this? Do you need something to focus on and see growth in positive ways?  Why not let it be you that you focus on so you can carry this out into the world.

Tools for the Journey

·       Morning pages-three pages of long hand as early in the morning as you can muster up to do. They are the primary tool of a Creative Recovery. Brain Drain, they siphon off negativity.

·       Artist's Date-Grounding in a sense of adventure and autonomy, the Artist's Date is a once-weekly, hour-long solo expedition to explore something festive or interesting to your creative consciousness.

·       Weekly Walks-The truth is in our walking it holds our solutions. Walking clears the head, allowing emotions to wash through.

Weekly Notes will be available for download on Sunday's when we begin each week at home reading the chapter for the week ahead. The notes are to spark discussion during our Weekly Check-ins.

Weekly Check-in's You will be invited to a Live Zoom Meeting for only this course on Thursday Mornings, 10:00 am Central Time.  You will be sent a code and password to enter the meeting. You will have to have already download the Zoom app on your phone or computer.  We will keep to about a minimum of 2 hours or less per week. Sharing in a circle format taking turns really listening to each other.

Finding support within our peers, creating a call to circle where people serve one another as believing mirrors, uniting with the common aim of creative and life unblocking.

As we gather each week the collective will rise in us and we will be prompt to play and create.  Small simple projects will be offered to inspire us and awaken our senses.

Like a College Course in that it is 3 months long,

But....

No Grades, No Midterm and No Final,

Awesome Right?

It works out to be $10.00 a week, support, tribe, circle, create, personal growth.

This Course will start Sept 17th 2020 end Dec 31st 2021. Longer than 13 weeks, to allow gaps for holiday events.

What do you need for supplies?

The book-Walking in this World and good walking shoes.  The rest you will work out with yourself on what is best to use as we carry on.

Art guru's and experts

Part of my experience is seeking, making mistakes, learning and growing. Insight from a support of circle has been a key element through-out. To be in the mindset of the student’s awareness is a gift we become each others teachers. I will be on this pilgrimage with all of you, yes hosting and guiding gently but with an open heart and mind, there is always room to grow.

I still have a question; how can I contact you?

I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Send me an email at lonecrow4@gmail.com.

Politics and discussion of sort?

At this time in this Course we will honor ourselves only and not bring into the circle Politics and other sort of topics that add a negative thread.
