Tack Down Tuesday's

"Becoming the Star that you are"
8 x 8 collage, matted 2" all sides, form core backing ready to pop in a frame.

Materials: 140 lb. Watercolor paper, stained tissue paper, gesso and painted Kraft paper, Nevr Dull National Geographic altered magazine paper with white ringlet paper hole savers under and on the surface of the collage papers. Acrylic glazing and dry brushing, coated with polymer medium and sealed with UV satin varnish.

Meaning behind the art: I belong to a book club and we meet every second Monday in the morning at a little Bakery/Cafe,  "Delightful place". We were finishing up the first book together "Life is a Verb" by Patti Digh and we came to the Chapter Nine, "Become You.. and with all the discussion this stuck with me through out the morning and in to the afternoon...so it all boils down to "Becoming the Star that you are"  I, for sure was feeling a bit jumbled and I'm sure you can see that in this collage piece, but there's a star shining in every one of us, be that star that you already are...Give yourself permission.

$45.00 plus tax and s/h
