Design is a planned arrangement of elements to form a visual pattern. Visual Organization
Content- Subject matters, story information the artwork is seeking to communicate to the viewer.
Form- is pure visual aspect presented in the art, manipulations of the Elements and Principles of design.
Content is what the artist wants to say and form is how they say it.
Problems in art can show up in one or both.
Art is and always has been a means of communication.
