Placement and Space

  Received a phone call and found out that this piece took 3rd place at the LaGrange Art League, On of my piece I created for The Flying Pig Gallery last year and now I get to exhibit it around here. A practice in less is more and asymmetrical composition. Always studying the basic. Depends on the placement and the space between and the outside edge of the work.  There is still great sense of off balance but it works because of the negative space that is larger...While making it I'm not thinking about this but let say it come naturally because I practice often and I trust my judgement.  There is a emotional also that is express through this composition that carries further then the surface design.
