Cattails and Stitching

 

Jumping around a bit but had some time to stitch these two journals together for an example of the workshop I'll be presenting at LaGrange Art League   

We make a huge sheet of paper first...

As you can see the big paper here that was used for the journals.  

Dried Cattail leaves will need to be soaked and then cooked, blended and ready for making some hand made paper in the next few weeks.  Process got to love it!
