Some thing had to go.....blog posts
As I blunk away at the keys here dinner is almost ready...some of my people have come home and other not till later. I'm filtering through some emails and responding back to others. Been making sure I am puttimg me first....walks in the woods, walks with the dogs, yoga and meditation through journaling and breathing. Got a bit side track with all that and then went to a great luncheon on Tuesday with my mother in law...Hi Mom ! after the luncheon we listen to Mary Lou Edwards read from her book. She kept us on the edge of our seats and we laughed at all the events we could so relate too. As we were leaving the place...my dear Mother in Law lost her balance and fell down the stairs....I was in shock at not being able to do anything but watch this woman fall and glide graceful head first to the bottom of the stairs. Precaution were taken with the Em. Team and we were able to drive home but we changed our minds and went to the hospital, peace of mind was a but more important and wanted to make sure nothing was broken or bleeding from inside....Her pride is a bit hurt, she will show off the colors of the rainbow soon enough but nothing is broken. We are grateful~
So with some messy bits of life, I got side track and didn't make back up the studio to work on my piece, I haven't got to my blog in a while....When life gets busy you just can't do it all...so somethings got to go....not every day can include all things you want to do. But what comes to the top of the pile...been noodling out some proposals for workshop, class stuff etc. So much so I had a dear friend a bit concerned...We chatted today and all is well. So well that she shared how she is doing with my book and how excited she is about go back to the basics of design...She's had to put this part of her life on hold till it was time....and now it is time...she is sharing her journey with me and has given me permission share it here on the blog...Thank You Lorraine, My dearest friend, art soul buddy for life...

You typed some kick-ass words about timing...about being the right time for this part of my life.
This is from p176 The Artists Way
How often -- even before we began -- have we declared a task 'impossible'? And how often have we construed a picture of ourselves as being inadequate?...
A great deal depends upon the thought patterns we choose and on the persistence with which we affirm them."
I can't tell you how much I appreciate being able to share thought patterns with you!
And yes,
I AM EXCITED TO GET BACK TO THE BASICS OF DESIGN WITH COLLAGE!
