Spirit Horse of Thunder and Lightening

this is a piece I just completed yesterday and will be varnishing it today and starting on another collage on canvas this weekend.  The husband just left for a solo road trip to Detroit Michigan to a bikers thing called "Oily Souls"  Wish his good travels and a fun time..

The piece is a 12 x 36 wood panel, I'll need to get it photographed here really soon...so if it's a bit distorted and not in focus that's me...

      I was going to just make an Abstract Landscape piece but then the idea of a larger Spirit Horse came...and I think I want to make even a bigger one.

    Beautiful. We saw such an amazing lightning show in a big thunder cloud last night, your piece gives me courage to attempt something like that.

      I find I'm always effected by my environment...and that's how the Lightening lines fitted into this one.

    I LOVE this!!! Love the colors, the checks, the long narrow shape! Love it all! I also saw tons of lightning in the clouds last night while flying home from visiting my son. It was spectacular!!
