Merit Award at Naperville Women's Club 51st, annual Fine Art Fair
To my surprise I received an award yesterday...there were a lot of new and great artist out there at the fair... must have been a tough one for the Judges....I'm thankful because that means I'm in for next year and no jurying in...I do like the setting of the Naper Settlement, close to home and lots of trees and grass.. I'm really thankful for the visit from friends, past customers and new customers this year with how things are it's hard to spend the money but we do need to have some enjoyment and pleasure and Art as her way of doing that for us doesn't she.. It started to rain right about 5:00 ish when it was tear down time so with my cousin Doris's help we where able to get all the art under and pretty much wrapped up before any major stuff came down..She's so patience with me...I'm such a annal person about wrapping up the art..even the hubby jokes about it. I'm thankful for the new tent top I purchased...now leaks...But today or soon this morning I'm going to pull it all out and set it up to dry..I need to pull out my panels too and the box of important goodies...all got a bit wet and if you don't let it dry out nicely you get the nasty smells going on.. so my morning is cut out for me with out my choice but staying flexible and grateful all work is save at home and in good condition.. So to a new week ahead..
Huge congrats on the well earned prize!
