Preparing for the future and image transfer

I've been pulling out old supplies and new to play with this little accordion book.  Yes glue, rubber stamps and ink pads... magazine images and some needle and thread.

Unfolds out and I have some quotes written in there from Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Then it folds up into a neat little package of 2 1/4 by 3 1/4  but opens up to be 24" long.  I have to say it is a success and accomplished with a hand out for the future class/workshop/retreat...which I'm not even sure will go but did my end of the job and that was to test it out and how it would be assembled for a class.

Off to work with image transfer in my Open Studio Class today...
Older piece but will bring it show how far something can go with image transfer...

Coating the surface a few time to build up a skin so then it can be use with the tack iron and transferred to a coated surface.

As you can see in the mystic...the woman image transfer has been transformed.

  1. Laura, are you using photo transfer paper or plain photo paper? May I ask?
