Morning sketches...moving into collage




We start the morning with a it of centering in our sketchbooks. 

Allotted 15 minutes, 5 pages torn from a magazine, glue sticks and scissors. 
Compositional exercise... Each were given a piece of red coated paper and some scraps. They had to fold the roof and tear te papers the start with a background, than move to the character of the house. 







Students work, everyone was able to produce some great pieces which they might show and tell at the CASA meeting this morning.

  4. Wonderful work! I would like to ask you to post the images a bit larger so that we can see them better- they used to get bigger when clicked on, but not any more. You must be a fantastic teacher as your students work is fabulous

    1. Hi Sharon, I was working from an Ipad and was not doing very well with the techie parts. The work was fresh, glossy and I was shaky with my photo taking. Not sure about the how the photo's work maybe they -Blogger changed things but I'll have to check on that...thanks for pointing that out. I was working with award winning artists of a basket full of varies mediums. thanks for you comments Sharon.
