I love the box. REally interesting looking.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that...a surprise! I always expect to see only collages on your blog.
ReplyDeleteAs long as there is paper involved in some form or another, I'm there.
DeleteReally love this! Hope you do more!
ReplyDeleteOh I hope so too, Robin...being such a scatter brain I'm thinking I'll circle back around again...
DeleteBoxes are YOU Lady...from way back. I have no doubt you will create more. I just read this quote from Twyla Tharp (legendary choreographer) She begins every new dance with a literal cardboard box. She writes the name of the project on the outside of the box and fills it up with every item that went into the creation of the work. "...a box is like soil to me. It's basic, earthy and elemental. It's home. It's what I go back to when I need to regroup and keep my bearings. Knowing that the box is always there gives me the freedom to venture out, be bold, dare to fall flat on my face. Before you can think out of the box, you have to start with a box."
ReplyDeleteI remember reading that in her book...
