Creative Art Block...in the dimensional form

I finished this piece up yesterday and snapped photo this morning...Yesterday the inch to pull out the stuff in the back of the closet was calling.  The thought of doing another Violin has come to the surface...Hmmmm...I might have to put that idea back up on the shelve for a bit...The Husband has so kindly with my permission purchased and assemble a...excuse my French..." Mean Ass Computer for the studio."   I know I've heard that could be dangers as you can spend more time on there then creating.  Well I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.  I needed something that wouldn't sound like it was spinning it wheels and about to die when I edit my video's for on line classes. My lap top is a lap top...not something that can  hand what I'm doing. So as I said the Violin will be put back up on the shelve so I can transfer my files over to the studio computer and pack for my workshop next Thursday...Oh life is full and I'm so grateful I was able to slip this little one in.  Not sure how many of these cedar block I have but I love the door knobs and I have some those Clear crystal ones...in a box on the shelve too. Back to the square thing again...

  4. Boxes are YOU Lady...from way back. I have no doubt you will create more. I just read this quote from Twyla Tharp (legendary choreographer) She begins every new dance with a literal cardboard box. She writes the name of the project on the outside of the box and fills it up with every item that went into the creation of the work. "...a box is like soil to me. It's basic, earthy and elemental. It's home. It's what I go back to when I need to regroup and keep my bearings. Knowing that the box is always there gives me the freedom to venture out, be bold, dare to fall flat on my face. Before you can think out of the box, you have to start with a box."
