Peanuts, Crows and Imperfection a Good Life

When I was avoiding taking risks, fear was always with me, just over my shoulder. Now I go through it and come out on the other side, often unscathed. I no longer have to keep a constant watch for potential dangers. Instead, I can occupy myself with living.

Wonderful things can happen today because I welcome the thrill of participation in my own life.

Rock this morning said..."be a Seeker"

So about a week or so and here one is...the other was in the big cotton wood two house down, calling out.  I've been putting peanuts in a shell out there and they came along with the dozen or so squirrel.   I'm sure the circus of squirrels attached a look see from the Crows and here you have it...Funny thing is the Husband thought the peanuts in the shell was for him...so had to share them with the crows dear.

Now on Sunday...I don't know what came over me...I was antsy and I just went up to the studio and pulled out my dremel tool and quickly measured the long rectangle and started cutting into... I've got an idea to put a box in there and stack some stuff up...you know just like home...magazines, books etc. and or put a wooden manikin in there too maybe. This is one of the creative piece that I'm using a a process piece...relating to life.  I have know Idea what the final work will look like and I'm taking big risk just doing to it as of reacting to it....because I do trust that I'll find my way through as in life...As a friend share always with me..."Life is Art and Art is life"  The same process used in many creative process is the same that one might use for life...duel tools I guess. My box is not straight at all...and well I had the husband come in with another dremel tool and help me straighten the jagged edges I had but the angle is off.  So like life we have these imperfect areas that call for a solutions and a creative one at that...A problem to be solved can be an artist best friend.

Well off to do the list and make progress with the final packing for the workshop this week...I know always packing for something.  A bit of Adventure is more like it...Road trip soon.

  1. I love the idea of a working piece. Now you have got me thinking, wouldn't it be interesting to do a piece that never gets finished - a never-ending piece of art, hmmm...

    1. Rolina...might that be a life...always being explored with adventure and excitement... I'm believing more and more...My life is a work of art and my art is a work of life...might sound big of me but when you get down to it a life span is so full of some much that it takes a curtain kind of creative mind set to be involved in it like creating a piece of art....circling in thought but I truely am believing that more and more..thanks for you comment.
