design and painting.

Well I didn't do a darn thing yesterday but stay in my pj's and sip tea and was pamper by my husband...he said I'm not use to you being like this. He did got for to long and had to be my side. Not much I could do but rest and pump liquids.   But though this all (throat bug) was able to take little moment and work the paint on the tipi...We figure it out roughly 43 feet I'm painting at the bottom of this tipi...so every 7 or 8 ft I had to stop and let it dry.  I thought I was 18 ft...then then I was painting for to long asked the husband about that and...we did the pie thing and figured it was more.  Not wonder it's taking a while ....

cattail design that will be repeated around the base.

My colors a bit off  not positive yet as to what will really be painted...lot of painting hours but if it works out I thinking it will be cool...the squares would over lap on the outside and you would see the difference of them instead of now being hidden. My thoughts are the natural flow of water that is around us in our neighborhood and the earth and the colors of the plants...so staying open an listening.

Today I've got to get ready for a class on Monday so lying low to gather strength for tomorrow. and we have snow...the husband was just called out to plow.  I'm sure my son will be too soon.

  1. I love your design, the colors, the way you've set up the shapes. I also like the restrained use of the red, so restrained that the red will actually stand out boldly. Can't wait to see the result of all this hard work!
