So can it really just start with a magazine?

Starting with a sketch in my collage sketch book, I just used magazines, glue stick and scissor.

There was something about this composition that intrigued me so I didn't it again. And from there I picked it for my compostion to do for Seth Apter's book, Which you can see right over here to your Left on my side bar of the Blog. "Mixed Media Artist"

Seth as us to pick a word prompt for a piece of artwork and I picked, "Out of the blue"  I can't tell you how many time going to my studio and allowing myself to work through a mood has helped me so much...I hate to say it but I work best when I'm needing accept a situation or problem in my life.  The image above is one of photos of the piece in the process.

'Out of the Blue by 2:30"

I enjoyed this composition so much I did it even larger. This piece is called Emergence. Newly done I brought it out as my Outdoor studio Exhibit Last year and it sold right away...I was shocked. So happy though I have prints of it...which a few sold at Jackson Junge Gallery the last year.
I've been dying to share the Out of the blue one with you for some time but had to wait till the book came out.... got to follow the rules and not spoil it on Seth...

the piece on Seth's blog, is titled-Shoreline #4 which is now at 4ArtInc Gallery located on the Fourth Floor of the Zhou Bro Art Center, Chicago IL
