Heading to Algoma WI

I'm headed this morning to Algoma WI.  I'll be leaving here in about an hour.  I picking up my work at The Flying Pig for the Winter,  Their hours are closed during the week and only open on the weekend so this piece I'm picking up I've entered into a show with the Chicago Woman's Caucus of Art, having to do with water.

I've asked different family members to go with but for some reason the could...well a good reason there jobs.  And the Husband doesn't want to this time...he's gone with me before. So I'm turning it into a me kind of trip.  I've got my computer, yoga CD and my reading material and journal. Plus I have a chair and my sketch book with my small bag of art material just in case I wanted to set up camp some where and draw...I have an idea but not sure depends on the weather. 

I'm taking an artist date weekend.

My finding yesterday from my woods medicine has come handed...I was ready to give up on an idea for a project that could be in a fund raiser for food pantry but an new idea fall in place...always surprise me how things work out... just got the base of gesso and texture down...heck I use brown Kraft paper all the time I should be a natural at this...well I'll see what comes. right now I've got to bust a move.

it will be cool but RAW ....Real, Awesome and Whole.
