Finished making some paper and to the studio today.

This is the Mulberry paper with bark chips and the white paper is abaca-inner bark of the bannana tree, mixed with corn husks and a little yucca.
I quickly finished up the plup that was in the vats and the left over bucket of abaca and pulled a few sheets and hung them on the line to dry..That didn't take long but a few sheets blew off and had to go fetch them.. Love the shadows of the morning light in the back yard.
Papermaking hut is closed now for a few days. so cleaned up and zippered up..

It's been a while and I'm itching to get back on the program and plan...I have a solo show in October and I have a Solo show in Feburary and that means for an artist it's always good to have a plan or make some new works...so I've got a closet, hallway and storage area with blank surfaces so best get a move on it.

I've got one more large piece to make for my art agent and then I'm a free bird to create for myself.

So that's the Plan and I'm sticking to it.

  2. After making paper I did sit in the back yard and just relax and enjoy the moment for a few and was very grateful to all that had happened.
