I have a piece in this exhibit above, I had to send it through the mail to Ohio, that is always a good experience to see if it makes it there in one piece...Luckily I had some heavy duty boxes from all the form core that has these triple walls of corrugated cardboard it helps when shipping.. safe to say it there and hanging on the wall of the Peninsula Art Academy then heading to the Hudson Library Gallery till the end of the year.. The book that Gretchen is signing is the book that I'm in sharing the resist technique of using the polymer medium and stamping into the magazine with it and letting it dry then coming back in with the Nevr Dull and rubbing with that and pulling the magazine color off and leaving the stamped images from the polymer, it is always a great experience to see what happens when you do this technique because you never know how it will turn out.. but one thing is you always get great collage papers from it.

Today I have my volunteer time at the LaGrange Art League..I've not done that in about 10 years..no there was a few times in between that but being a teacher and a framer it was like I was camped out there anyways so why come in again..but different now as I'm not teaching there this fall and winter session and I don't frame there any more..I'm kind of looking forward to that.. I'll bring in my faceless people series piece that I'm working and pull out the plastic and have at it...

Need to bust a move because I also need to fit the walk in with the four legged buddies...keeping the training going and fresh.
