Nevr Dull wad used to pull magazine color off with dry polymer resist.
Polymer resist with Nevr Dull, magazine pages will be coated on both sides.
Palette of papers and coated canvas ready for collaging.

I just happened across your blog, it's wonderful.... I'm getting ready to teach collage classes in a nursing home - this is a project they can do... where do I find Never Dull pads?

You asked where I get the nevr dull from and I usually find it at our local Ace Hardware store in the cleaning section. But word of caution, the nevr dull is a very smelly thing so have good ventilation for every one.
