It the weekend!!!

So I fit my walk in early on Saturday and it was a very spiritual experience. I had the whole area by myself. I didn't see another human being out there, didn't see any deer either but that's OK, the doe's are getting ready for fawning soon so there saving their energies and the bucks just laying back and taking it easy. The growth in the woods so green and full, things I could see just a few weeks ago are barely visible now through the woods. The birds so many different kinds. I need to bring my extra pair of super eyes on a string next time for the view in this one White pine. I feel it may be a hawk nest or a old crow's nest. Might get lucky and see that an owl might have been there. I was able to do my food shopping between picking up the my art at Downers Grove Public Lib. The MCS is having another show at the Woodridge Library but I decided not to exhibit. That's been the first time I didn't. Wow, I just realized that. I need to have my work all home, I'm starting the fair season mid May here and need to be able to make a good decision about what will visually look good at each fair. Some areas, pieces work better then others. So....Washed, cut and chopped my veggies and fruits and prepared them for the weeks use. Then ate a nice turkey sandwich with homemade yogurt, I know my cousin use to make homemade yogurt while back. I used it for Mayo on my turkey sandwich. What a wonderful taste with the wheat bread. And Strawberries were tasting pretty good too. After cleaning up that mess of cutting and chopping. I started sewing the display panels for my booth display. I think I might have to tighten them up a bit but 10 panel cover are sewn and a little tweaking is all that is needed. Today I need to go to the MCS Meeting we are having artist/Member show us and then we get to try it. Emboss the handmade paper and color it with a spraying technique. Sounds like a good time. Oh and just confirmed with other gallery a date to meet next Tuesday so that's a good thing. No guarantee of sales but just doing all the next right things.
I've coated my four piece of the Flash Back Series and I need to varnish them today and in a few days I can have some pictures up on the blog here.
I entered a show at the Galaxie called Foot Show where we purchase a canvas 12 x 12 and do what ever on them and drop them off. I need to have mine ready by May 29th so I'm going to use the Flash Back techniques on there and make that a part of the series too. I have a commission piece from the Kaneland Art Festival I need to bust a move on. It's been two weeks so I best be on it this week. I don't have to work on Tuesday so my week will be back to a normal pace after I get back from the city. Busy.... busy .... Busy....that's the job leading me on...
